Keynote speaker Rob Jagtenberg and Annie de Roo

A research in the context of youth projects and multi-problem families,
by Mediation International Research in collaboration with
the Institute for Public Sector Efficiency Studies IPSE, University of
Technology in Delft (The Netherlands).

Annie de Roo graduated on a study into the Dutch juvenile justice court,
and has published extensively on effective autonomous dispute resolution, especially in labour disputes, by the social partners. She has been
a member of several EU expert committees and acted as a rapporteur on
mediation-based dispute resolution to a.o. the UNDP and the Council of Europe.
She is editor-in-chief of the Dutch-Flemish Mediation and Conflict
Management Quarterly.

Rob Jagtenberg graduated in law but has been involved in many
multidisciplinary research projects during the last two decades, a.o. on
escalating costs and conflict pathways in employment disputes within the
Netherlands police force, and on resistance from among legal professionals
against new domains and approaches. He has been commissioned as an expert by
e.g. the Netherlands Council for the Judiciary and by the Worldbank.
He (co-)authored some 80 articles and books.
